The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
